Product Description
Type lever fill fountain pen
Product Name Capitol Lady Dainty, we could only make out a "Capitol Lady Da-" clearly and the only model with that name we could find was the Lady Dainty.
Manufacturer and Year Aikin Lambert, USA -- 1920s-30s, it doesn't match the Lady Dainty in the 1918 catalog.
Length 4-3/16" and slender.
Filling System Lever filler. We've replaced the bladder and it works very well.
Color Black chased hard rubber with metal trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE 14k marked "Aikin Lambert No 1" It has a rectangular feed and writes with nice smooth line variation. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. The metal trim looks even and the chasing is strong on the cap and weaker on the barrel. The pen has a few marks throughout including a rough textured end of barrel and a slight shaved area just near the end of the barrel. The imprint is pretty faded and with careful analysis does say more than what shows in the photos.
