Product Description
Type Modern fountain pen
Product Name Acqua Demonstrator. It's #128 of a limited edition of 200.
Manufacturer and Year Ancora, Italy, 1999
Length 5-3/4" and quite stout.
Filling System Button filler. Filling instructions are included in the box.
Color Clear green resin with vermeil trim. "Acqua" is Italian for water, and you can see this beautiful green in Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe, or on Mediterranean beaches.
Nib 18k Medium nib. The Ancora nibs are famous for their quality. The tines are rather elongated, adding to the soft and spring-y feel. There's a little bit of flex, but no real line variation.
Condition Near mint in box, with papers, lightly used only. No scratches or cracks or chips. It might have been inked, but there are no stains. We've tested the pen and it's working well. The way the trim was cast gives an overall antique feeling, it's not super smooth and shiny.
The box has some damage to the outer shell (it's like a bonded leather, and the outer portion is peeling off in a few spots), but nothing that impacts the pen.
