Color Hand painted barrel with a sailing ship and ocean theme that is signed by the artist. Blue marble cap, end piece of barrel, and section. Two sterling silver bands, one cap band and the other above the faux blind cap. Silver clip and clip ring.
Nib FINE 18k nib with masking wear.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large, gorgeous pen, that is beautifully painted and that beckons the sea during the time of the big sailing ships. The hand painted barrel is beautiful and looks perfect. The barrel end piece has some light scratching. The cap has one medium scratch to the left of the clip and a small mark to the right of the end of the clip. The section is nice. The two sterling silver bands are perfect with lovely etches decorations. The clip has some small scratches and plating wear inside the indentation near the end. The imprints and hallmarks are clear.
