Filling System Piston filling system. We replaced the piston seals and tested the filling system, and it's working well.
Color Black celluloid barrel with nikargenta (steel nickel alloy) cap. The section and knob are hard rubber. The cap has a lined pattern. The section has a serial number: 806550 and an imprint, Aurora 88 in an oval marked out on the front.
Nib MEDIUM FLEXIBLE 14k nib. The shape of the imprint on the end of the barrel indicates nib size, and when it had its paint it would also have told you if it was flexible, semi-flex or firm. We're guessing this was considered flexible or semi-flex. Please see writing sample.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks. This is a mid-size, dark and shiny pen with an elegant lined cap. The barrel has a nice ambered viewing area. It has moderate scratching including a few small, deep marks, mainly in the area of the viewing window. The section has some small, deep scratch marks. The blind cap has moderate surface wear. The cap has a small dent and light scratching. The clip has moderate microscratching and there is pitting on the top part. The imprints are clear.
