Filling System Piston filling system. Tested and working well.
Color Black resin, with elaborately detailed sterling silver artwork overlaid on the cap. The trim is silver-colored.
Nib 18k medium nib (masked) with some feeling of softness, but no flex.
Condition Near mint in box with paperwork. The pen had been inked, but there are minimal signs of usage. No dents, dings or scratches. Tested and working well. The sterling cap overlay was created by a jewelry designer, and incorporates several important symbols of Venice, including the winged lion of St. Mark, gondolas, and Gothic stonework decorations of the Doge's Palace.
In original damask covered gift box with outer cardboard sleeve, and paperwork. There is also an unopened bottle of ink - it's not labeled as to color, but we suspect black.
