Color Black with silver colored trim. The clip was cast in fine silver 900. The body is made of G-10. According to Bexley: It has multiple layers of laminated fiberglass that have been impregnated with epoxy resins. The result is a highly stable, durable material that is often used as a substrate for printed circuit boards.
Nib MEDIUM CURSIVE ITALIC two-toned 18k Bexley nib, marked with an M for medium. The outside of the box indicates that it came with a medium nib, though there is also a handwritten note (from the owner) on the box: "F nib probably modified by Mike It Work". It definitely started out as a medium, and it does have a cursive italic grind on it.
Condition Near Mint in box. The pen has been inked, but there is only very light handwear. The trim has some polishing marks and light scratches. The clip ring has some tiny dots to the left of the clip attachment point; they appear less like pitting and more like a surface texture from the casting process. (It still might be a good idea to keep an eye on this area) The coloring of the G-10 material is consistent. The imprint seems slightly worn down, which could be due to the unique characteristics of the material. No cracks, chips, scratches, or dents. Ships in a Bexley box, which is original to the pen, with the original certificate from Bexley.
