Color The "Amber Agate" pen is made of mottled brown ebonite with black end pieces and a gold plated plate that says, "Bexley." It looks like a cigar sticker and gives the whole pen a cigar look. There is a narrow band near the end of the barrel.
Nib BROAD ITALIC 14k nib. It nib is marked Bexley and is two-tone. It is unmarked but writes with strong line variation. See the writing sample below. It is a #6 nib.
Condition Excellent + condition. There is some fading of the black part of the ebonite on the cap, as can be seen in the photos. Otherwise, the pen looks unused with no handwear and good looking plating. The imprints on the gold portions are clear.
