Color "Summer Sunset" uses red-orange acrylic similar in color to the red hard rubber pens from the 1920s and 30s. The section is actually a mottled semi-transparent black as seen in the photos. It has black flat end pieces and a 1/8" cap band. The trim is gold plated.
Nib Broad Cursive Italic steel two-tone nib. The nib has been cut to be an italic, we don't know who did the nib work. It's a JoWo #6 nib labeled Bexley. The nib started as a broad but has been cut for line variation. The gold plating has started to wear off on the underside of the nib. It uses the Bexley housing and not the standard JoWo one. (We can install a generic JoWo #6 nib if this nib size doesn't suit you, but it won't be labeled Bexley. Send us a message after you order to change the nib size.)
Condition Near mint with very little handwear. No cracks, chips, scratches, or dents.
