We've really enjoyed offering Ranga handmade pens from India to our customers, and the brand has developed quite a following around the world.  With Ranga, we developed the popular Zayante, Davenport and Miwok models which are a mainstay in our online shop.

We're now pleased to introduce a less well known Indian pen maker, Lotus Pens from Mumbai. When we first posted on Instagram that we were considering carrying Lotus' pens, we received so many enthusiastic messages from pen lovers who had discovered and ordered pens from the company. They raved about the quality of both the workmanship and the materials. After we placed a test order with Lotus, we had to agree! 

The Lotus pens we will be carrying will be variations on their standard models, with special materials and design elements. There will be some models that are exclusive to Peyton Street Pens, and will only be available to our website customers.

One area where Lotus excels is in their usage and skillful integration of trim elements (bands and clips). We consider this work on par with the best Italian makers such as Leonardo and ASC, as well as modern American brands such as Esterbrook and Edison.

In keeping with the high quality pens being made by Lotus, we will be offering JoWo #6 nibs in 14k and 18k in addition to our standard polished steel and gold tone steel nibs in the pulldown nib selection menu.
