Filling System Button filling system. The pen has been fully restored.
Color Black pen with gold filled trim. The section is made of hard rubber and the rest of the pen is made of celluloid. The cap has three bands that span 1/4".
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE nib. It writes smoothly. See the writing sample below. This nib originally was broken in half and we had Greg Minuskin repair the break -- see photos below. The face of the nib is smooth, but you can see the welding residue on the back of the nib from the repair. There remains a fine crack at the base of the nib which cannot be seen. The Camel artwork is clear.
Condition Excellent condition. The primary wear is on the nib, as described above. The barrel imprint is clear and the trim has held up exceptionally well. There are no major scratches. Please note that we cannot warrant the pen or give you a refund if you pull the nib, as the crack at the base could worsen, so please refer to the photos.
