Description of repair: When we got the pen, the barrel threads were cracked and a large chunk was missing. We removed the broken hard rubber and trimmed back the hard rubber under the overlay, and then epoxied in a replacement piece from a hard rubber #2 Crescent pen. There are a few scratches on the added part, but otherwise the pen looks quite nice. We guarantee the repair as well as the filling system restoration for one year from date of purchase.
