Product Description
Type Crescent filling vintage fountain pen in great condition with a fully flexible nib.
Product Name Crescent, Model 20P (the imprint reads "Trade Mark 20P" at the end of the barrel). This is a short model with no clip.
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, made in USA -- 1920s.
Length 4-5/16".
Filling System Crescent filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black chased hard rubber with gold filled band and crescent.
Nib FLEXIBLE EXTRA FINE Conklin #2 Toledo gold nib is very smooth with nice tipping. We consider this full flex, just short of a wet noodle. The tines spread very easily for strong line variation. See our writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. The chasing pattern looks great. The texture is well intact. The imprint is very clear. The locking mechanism beneath the crescent moves easily. The barrel imprints show a little wear but are easily read. There are some marks on the cap band. The color of the hard rubber is firmly black. It's fully restored and working well.
