Color Black chased hard rubber with gold filled clip and crescent. There's also a 1/2" wide cap band.
Nib FULLY FLEXIBLE FINE Conklin #2 Toledo gold nib is very smooth with nice tipping. The tines spread easily for good line variation from extra fine to double broad. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. The chasing pattern on the cap is smoothed a bit, but is still easily discernable. The texture on the barrel is well intact. The locking mechanism beneath the crescent moves easily. There is plating wear at either end of the clip. The cap band has a lot of scratching, and the lower edge has plating wear. The barrel imprints show a little wear but are easily read. The color of the hard rubber is slightly faded, but still fairly dark. It's fully restored and working well.
