Filling System Crescent filler. We've restored it with a new sac and its working very well.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR) with a gold filled crescent and clip.
Nib Extra fine Conklin Toledo #4 nib. Line variation from extra fine to medium, so it's not dramatic, but the nib feels soft and it flexes easily. There are some scratches on the face of the nib. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a dark, classically designed pen, with excellent chasing. The black hard rubber has faded slightly to a dark chocolate brown, except under the cap, where the section is the original dark black color. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and some very tiny marks at the end around the 4NL lettering. The cap looks great. No brassing on the clip. The crescent has fine scratch lines on the back. The clip is excellent. The imprints are clear.
