Color "Imperial" - Purple and gold-bronze marble with gold-filled trim. The gold-bronze pieces have some sparkle. There are three grooves on the pen, near the top of the cap, just above the cap band, and just under the lever on the barrel. These would originally have been painted yellow. A few remnants of the paint can be seen with magnification.
Nib FINE flexible Endura nib. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This is a nice-sized, richly colored pen that is quite beautiful. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip, light scratching, with some tiny bite marks at the end. The cap has moderate scratching with a few small marks and tiny bite marks near the top. The lever looks great as does the etched serial number on it. The cap band has plating wear on the lower edge but otherwise it is shiny and gold. The clip has two spots of plating wear on the end and some light scratching especially along the left side. The three grooves that originally would have been painted yellow are missing the coloration. The imprints are clear.
