Product Name Endura Imperial. This is a standard size pen.
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, Toledo Ohio -- late 1920s.

Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color "Imperial" - deep blue-purple and gold. This rare color combination was only offered for a short period of time. In the hand, the darker color almost looks black, but when you hold it up to light you can see the gorgeous deep purple/blue color. You can see this in our pictures featuring the cap lip, the color really shows nicely there. Gold-filled trim.
Nib Medium flexible Conklin Endura U.S.A. gold nib. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The pen is shiny and has very nice crisp coloring. The grooves carved in the cap and barrel haven't really retained their yellow color. Clip has small spots of brassing at either end, as well as some tiny bits of plating wear near the open end.. The lever looks fantastic, as does the cap band. Nib has some polishing marks, but this does not affect the pen's function. The imprints are clear.
