Product Description
Type | Lever filling vintage fountain pen in good working condition. |
Product Name | Conklin Endura (the imprint is readable) |
Manufacturer and Year | Conklin, Toledo Ohio, mid-1920s |
Length | 4-1/4" |
Filling System | Lever filler. The pen had been fully restored by the folks here at Peyton Street Pens. We'll guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase. |
Color | Black celluloid with chunks of bronze-colored material. There are some lines engraved around the barrel, and in the grooves these have a suggestion of the original yellow paint. |
Nib | Gold Conklin Endura. Fine. Very good flex, though not a wet noodle, with a lot of tipping material. |
Condition | Very nicely restored and ready to write. User grade due to a few issues: brassing to trim, 2 cracks in cap lip, and two tiny cracks on either side of the crescent shaped hole on the nib. (This does not affect the writing, and if you write with normal pressure the cracks will not increase in length.) |
