Type Lever filling, fully restored vintage fountain pen.
Product Name Endura (the imprint is clear on the barrel). Largest "Senior" size.
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, Toledo, Ohio – this line of pens began circa 1924.
Length Fountain pen is Senior sized, just a hair over 5-1/4".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Lapis, lovely mottled shades of blue. There are some grooves around the barrel which were once filled with an orange color. Some of that has faded, but it's still visible.
Nib Huge MEDIUM gold nib marked Conklin Endura. Smooth and somewhat flexible, with line variation from medium to double-broad. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. There is light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. There is some brassing and tiny dots of plating wear along the edges of the cap band, and around the open end of the clip. There's plating wear along the sides on around the tab end of the lever. The section has some bite or tool marks. The imprints are clear. Fully restored and working well.
