Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Endura Symetrik is the closest we can come to identifying the model. It's not marked on the barrel as they usually are, and it has a plain Conklin Toledo nib, but it otherwise looks correct including the embedded crescent in the cap.
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, Toledo Ohio – circa 1930s.
Length Standard size, 5-3/16".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Cream color with gold plated trim and two thin cap bands. It has discolored substantially over the years with the lower cap and most of the barrel appearing more orange-brown and some green-blue staining on the threads and around the cap lip. This celluloid has some interesting dark veining in the pattern, which should not be mistaken for cracks in the photos below.
Nib FINE gold Conklin Toledo nib is smooth with nice tipping material. It's got a nice little bit semi-flexibility to it with a small amount of line variation.
Condition Very nice condition with the major flaw being the discoloration. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. There's some scratching on the lower barrel and around the barrel threads, as well as lighter scratching on the cap. It's fully restored and working well.
