Product Description
Type | Lever filling vintage fountain pen in very nice working condition |
Product Name | A rather uncommon model, due to its small size. Not sure if this line had a product name, it is rather early. These lever fill pens were made more or less concurrently with the crescent fillers. |
Manufacturer and Year | Conklin, Toledo Ohio, 1920s |
Length | 3-3/8" |
Filling System | Lever filler. We've replaced the sac and it works great. |
Color | Black chased hard rubber with gold plated trim. The chasing pattern on the cap and barrel is lined, and fairly well defined, though there is a fair amount of oxidization and so the color is more dark brown than black. Gold plated trim. |
Nib | Warranted nib is probably a replacement. It has no flex whatsoever and is in super condition with excellent tipping material. |
Condition |
Restored and ready to write. No cracks or chips, no brassing. The main flaw is the color. |
