Product Description
Type Lever filling vintage fountain pen
Product Name Probably the Glider model.
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, Chicago, 1939 to late 1940s

Filling System Lever filler. We've replaced the sac and tested the pen and it works great.
Color Striped grey and red. The grip section is black with a transparent ink window. The trim was lightly gold plated, but the plating is largely gone from everything but the lever. We have yet to see one of these that wasn't worn in the exact same way!
Nib FINE Flexible 14k warranted nib. Please see writing sample.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks or chips. This is a nice-sized, shiny pen that has beautiful coloration. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and moderate scratching. The lever looks great. The interior section paint is worn. The cap has moderate microscratching, especially near the top. The very tip top of the cap has deep scratch lines and some crackling. The cap band plating is almost completely worn off. There are some dots of pitting and one pinched area. The clip plating is also worn and there is pitting. The imprints are clear.
