Filling System Plunger filler patented by Conklin as the "Quick-Fill" system. We've replaced the seals and tested the system and it's working very well. The operation is similar to the one-stroke Sheaffer Vac-Fil system .... pull the plunger out all the way and put the pen in ink, then push the plunger down in one stroke.
Color Red and grey marble with black geometric lines. Red-orange ink window. Gold "glitter" crescent set into the cap below the clip.
Nib MEDIUM gold nib marked Conklin Toledo, firm with no flex.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a uniquely designed and colored pen that looks shiny and pretty. The barrel has a 1+ inch viewing window colored an orange/red that has excellent transparency. The window area has marks caused by the cap lip. The remainder of the barrel with the pretty marble pattern has moderate scratching. The cap also has moderate scratching with one small blemish to the left of the top of the clip and with some small scratches at the very top. The double cap band has light to moderate microscratching but with no plating wear. The clip has plating wear on the end and at the top as well as light microscratching. The imprints are clear.
