Product Description
Type Piston filling vintage fountain pen
Product Name Nozac Pen Line series with Quick-Fill mechanism
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, Toledo Ohio – Mid 1930s
Length 4-7/16" long - this is the smaller "women's" size.
Filling System Plunger filler patented by Conklin as the "Quick-Fill" system. We've replaced the seals and tested the system and it's working very well. The operation is similar to the one-stroke Sheaffer Vac-Fil system .... pull the plunger out all the way and put the pen in ink, then push the plunger down in one stroke.
Color Pearl Red striated, alternating with translucent red stripes on the barrel, and solid red stripes on the cap. Gold plated trim.
Nib FINE Conklin Toledo gold nib. Smooth and semi-flexible, with good tipping material. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. There is light to moderate handwear and scratching. The trim looks good, with just tiny dots of plating wear on the edges of he cap band. The barrel imprint is slightly worn, but still readable. The barrel has great clarity, so you'll easily be able to see the ink level. The pen is working very well. The coloration is fantastic - very clear and even.
