Filling System Catridge/converter filler. The pen takes international cartridges and threaded converters. A threaded piston converter is installed.
Color Black chased hard rubber in a detailed cross-hatch pattern. The area above the clip has the No. 06 engraved. The cap has engraved the following quote from the often quoted American jurist and lawyer, Billings Learned Hand, "Words Are Chameleons Which Reflect The Color of Their Environment." Sterling silver 3/8" cap band and clip. The cap band has the scales of justice engraved on it. The top of the cap and the top of the clip have the Conway-Stewart intertwined C/S engraved.
Nib MEDIUM 18k nib. It is very smooth and is marked "M".
Condition Near mint condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large, impressive, dark, shiny and heavy pen. The crosshatch patterning is fully intact and lovely. The 3/8" cap band has some microscratching and a few dots of plating wear. The clip is excellent. The clip ring has some dots of tarnish. All imprints, hallmarks, and logos are clear.
