Product Description
Type Lever filling vintage fountain pen and mechanical pencil set
Product Name Endura Symetrik (marked on the fountain pen barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, Toledo Ohio – circa 1930s.
Length Both pieces are 5-1/8" long. We believe this is the standard size, but it might be the "large" size as we have not been able to find measurements. It's definitely not the oversize version, which is over 5-1/2" in length.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well. The mechanical pencil takes 1.1mm leads. A packet of leads will be included.
Color Jade green with black veins, and black enamelled grooves. Gold plated trim. The pen and pencil have two gold cap bands each. Ends are rounded on both pieces. The color is brighter on the ends.
Nib FINE Semi-flex gold Toledo nib. Please see writing sample.
Condition Excellent condition with nice color. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The fountain pen has light wear only, mainly on the top of the cap, where there are some small dents (bite marks) above the clip. The lever, and clip are beautiful. The bottom of the cap bands has some light pitting. The mechanical pencil has light overall scratching but no major marks. The cone, clip and bands are excellent. The imprints on the fountain pen are clear.
