Filling System Cross ballpoint refills. A medium black refill is installed.
Color 1/20 12k gold-filled. There is a "flamestitch" machine engraved pattern on the body, with three black enamel rings on both top and bottom halves of each piece; this is a throwback to a style that Cross made in 1930.
Condition New condition, never used, in presentation box with paperwork and accessories. When we got the set, the pen was sealed in a bag, but we removed this in order to polish the pen's surface. The pen looks fantastic, with just very light polishing marks on the surface. All of the CROSS imprints are clear, including the LE number of 2322/2450. No chips in the lacquer.
The American cherry wood box has some slight dings on the outer surface. The foam pieces inside are present, but there is some age-related deterioration. The wood desk tray looks perfect. Polishing cloths are included.
