Manufacturer and Year Cross, USA -- Circa 2001, this is when the line was discontinued and approximately when Cross stopped making pens in the USA.

Filling System Takes Cross cartridges or Cross Townsend converters. A box of 6 dried cartridges and a converter are included. Please note that Cross makes multiple converters and only the Townsend one will work.
Color The pen is gridded and is also painted with black lacquer to look like scales or a shell. The texture does not line up with the painted design. It has rhodium plated trim and is called Carbonite.
Nib Medium steel nib. It looks a little different from the general steel nib because it has rhodium masking to better pair it with the trim.
Condition Mint condition. It has no ink residue or handwear. There's a few marks on the cap beneath the clip but they're very shallow and difficult to notice. The pen ships with its original box and none of the ink cartridges or the converter have been used.
