Filling System Takes Cross cartridges or Cross Townsend converters. A piston converter is installed. Please note that Cross makes multiple converters and only the Townsend one will work.
Color Flashy lined silver plated cap and barrel and black section. We assume it is silver plate because it is not marked 925 anywhere nor does it say STERLING anywhere. We see a lot of these pens online where the sellers claim they are solid sterling silver, so we are really unsure.
Nib MEDIUM gold plated nib. This pen probably would have originally had an 18k nib with a silver collar on the section.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box, with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny, monochromatic, classically styled pen that has a good weight and the classic Cross appearance. The cap and barrel have light to moderate microscratching, visible on the shiny surface. The section looks great. The imprints are clear.
