Type Modern Special Edition fountain pen
Product Name Townsend. This pen is part of the Cross "Year of the Zodiac" series. The rat is the first sign of the 12 year cycle, and people born under this sign are said to be imaginative, intelligent, quick witted, and charming. The rat also symbolizes wisdom and strong life force.
Manufacturer and Year Cross, 2020. Not indicated on the pen, but we are fairly confident it was made in China.

Filling System Cartridge/converter, proprietary. A Cross converter is installed.
Color Metallic blue lacquer with 23k gold plated inlays and trim. The ornate inlays and trim are floral on the barrel and the upper body and face of a rat on the top. A Capri Blue Swarovski crystal is inset into the top of the cap.
Nib MEDIUM 18k gold nib.
Condition Near Mint condition. No cracks, chips, dents or dings. The plating and lacquer are all in perfect shape. Though we don't have the original packaging, we will ship it with a new blue Cross zippered leather case.
