Manufacturer and Year Cross, made in USA with US components -- early 2000s. The nib was made by Namiki in Japan. This model is discontinued.
Length 5-7/8" and oversized (fat, bullet shape)
Filling System Takes Cross cartridges and the Cross screw-in converter, type 8756. (The screw-in type fits Torero, Affinity, Sauvage, C-Series, Sentiment, Century II, Apogee, Verve and ATX models.) A new converter is installed.
Color Brushed stainless steel cap and barrel. Clip in a satin-y light wine colored plastic. (You press the top of the clip and it extends a bit.) Black section with inlaid nib.
Nib BROAD 18k inlaid nib. The nib is marked B on one side and 18k 750 on the other side.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large-size, impressive looking pen in a shiny brushed stainless steel and with a unique faux clip. The cap and barrel have light microscratching. The clip has microscratches along the top edges. The wine-colored underlay also has microscratching along the top edge. The Cross imprint is clear.
