Filling System This is a Japanese eyedropper pen. You fill it using a syringe or eyedropper. Japanese eyedropper pens are slightly different from most in that they have a piston seal to prevent burping. Loosening the knob at the end of the pen allows for smoother ink flow. When not in use, tighten the knob and it should not leak.
Color Black ebonite in a bamboo shape with an urushi coating and gold plated trim.
Nib Medium 14k nib. It is very smooth and slightly springy. It is a handsome nib.
Condition Excellent condition. The pen has no scratches or usage signs, though It does have some minor discoloration so it's not quite the pitch-black it was originally. We photographed the pen from all angles and as you can see, it is not very noticeable. No dents, cracks, chips, or scratches. It has some slight plating wear on the trim. Ships in Ban-ei box.
