Filling System Lever filler, restored with a new sac.
Color Black and Pearl. Gold filled trim. Two dull white bands near the top of the cap and end of the barrel. The cap has a personalization, "Lucille Summers".
Nib Fine 14k #8 nib. Firm and smooth. There are some toolmarks on the face of the nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no chips, dents, or dings. There is a short curved crack on the cap lip, so the cap should not be posted. This is a large pen in a great color pattern and with a classic flat top design. The coloring on the pearl has mostly mellowed into a dark caramel color; there is some inconsistency in the coloration between the cap and barrel. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The lever has scratching and some plating wear along the edges. The cap band closest to the cap lip has plating wear on the lower edge; otherwise these bands look nice and shiny, with some scratching. The clip has plating wear on the ball. The cap has a personalization: "Lucille Summers." The imprints are clear.
