Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Unknown, but it's got a #3 Diamond Medal nib. It's the same size as other Diamond Medla pens imprinted "Standard."
Manufacturer and Year Diamond Medal , circa 1920s
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Lever filler. We've fully restored it with a new sac, and it's working very well.
Color Reddish woodgrain celluloid, gold plated trim with a wide cap band.
Nib FINE Diamond Medal #3 14k nib is firm and in really nice condition with lots of tipping material. (It's a little splotchy, despite a lot of polishing with Simichrome, and there are some fine scratches in the gold at the base of the nib ... none of which affects the writing experience.)
Condition Excellent condition with some light scratches and marks along the cap and barrel. The trim is still looking great, with just some minor scratches and tiny spots of wear on the band, and just the lightest brassing on the ball of the clip. It's a very handsome pen, despite the wear and scratches. Fully restored and working well with no cracks or chips, and a nice clear imprint.
There's a beautiful capital N engraved on the back side of the wide cap band (unfortunately we didn't get a photo of it).
