Product Description
Type Combo fountain pen and pencil
Product Name Unknown. Eclipse was a less than top tier maker, but this is one of their higher-end pieces.
Manufacturer and Year Eclipse, circa 1920s-30s
Length 5-7/8"
Filling System Lever filler has been restored with a new sac. The pencil part takes 1.1mm (or "thick") leads, which you extend by twisting it's cone. We'll include a small container of vintage leads.
Color Black chased hard rubber in a greek key pattern with gold plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM FLEXIBLE 14k Warranted nib, with a good amount of tipping material. Very smooth. The nib does list a little to the right, so it'll be better for a right handed user than one who is left handed.
Condition Superior, near mint condition. No cracks or chips. There are a couple of tiny imperfections on the plating of the cap band, and some very small scratches here and there. The top piece of the cap is slightly discolored to a more grey color except for one small area of it. It's a beautiful piece, with a nice flexible nib, and both fountain pen and pencil side working very well.
