Product Description
Type Fountain Pen.
Product Name unknown. It's reminiscent of some Reform pens from the late 1940s - early 1950s.
Manufacturer and Year Ero, Germany -- late 1940s to early 1950s
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Piston Filler. Tested and working well. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Black cap, section, and piston knob, with a barrel that has a gray "snakeskin" pattern, and a clear blue ink view window (the barrel kind of reminds us of some early 1950's Pelikans). The trim may have once had a very thin gold plating, but it mostly looks silver colored now.
Nib Fine ERO 1 Gold Plated Nib. Screw in nib unit. We've heard these pens can accept Pelikan nib units, but we cannot confirm that.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautiful little pen with an interesting barrel pattern. The cap has light to moderate scratching. The clip and clip ring have some scratching and scuffs, but there's no signs of corrosion. The cap band also has scratches and scuffs, and a very slight gold tinge to the color. The patterned portion of the barrel has light scratching, but no cracks or chips. The blue ink view window is nicely translucent, with no ink staining. The piston knob looks great. The imprints are clear.
