Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name B Dollar Pen. The "B" pen was full sized and the "H" pen was demi-sized. "A" was long and slender.
Manufacturer and Year Esterbrook, made in USA -- mid 1930s.
Length 4-13/16 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Pearl Gray with steel trim and a clip that extends over the top of the cap. This is the second version of the Pearl Gray color that matches the J series gray.
Nib FIRM EXTRA FINE #9550 steel nib is smooth. The 9000 series of nibs have iridium tipping. They were called the "Master Point" series of nibs. The 9550 nib is catalogued as Firm Extra Fine for posting.
Condition Excellent condition. There is light handwear and some microscratching. There is one interrupted scratch on the barrel just beneath the cap lip when capped, and there are also cap marks from posting. The imprint is very crisp. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or plating wear. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
