Manufacturer and Year Esterbrook, made in USA -- late 1940s or 1950s.
Length 5-1/16 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Light "copper" brown color with steel trim. The black cap jewel is the earlier Esterbrook style with three ridges in it, and the clip does not have the company name stamped in it.
Nib BROAD RELIEF STUB iridium-tipped #9314-B is smooth and firm with lovely tipping, cut in a definite left-oblique.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or plating wear. There's some scratching and handwear on the barrel and cap, and the barrel has discolored to a slightly darker hue than the cap. The imprint is quite clear and readable. We've restored the pen and it's working very well.
