Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Pastels, First Generation (the jewels are black). This was a part of the J series.
Manufacturer and Year Esterbrook, made in USA - circa 1950s.
Length 4-3/8".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Grey with chrome trim and black end jewels.
Nib Flexible Extra Fine Falcon nib. Esterbrook says this is for clerical and office use with shaded writing.
Condition Very nice condition. The cap has some significant scratches and bite marks near the top. The barrel has some microscratches and a few small bite marks near the end. The clip has some pitting. The jewel at the bottom of the pen has scratch marks. The threads are discolored. No cracks or chips, dings or personalization. The imprint is slightly worn but very visible. Fully restored and working well.
