Product Name J Series, Transitional J with the flat ended barrel.
Manufacturer and Year Esterbrook, made in USA -- later 1940s.
Length Just under 4-15/16 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color The lighter brown, Copper color with steel trim and a black cap jewel. with chrome trim.
Nib MEDIUM FIRM #9668 steel nib is smooth with nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. There are some scratches and marks on the cap and barrel. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or plating wear. The imprints are clear and readable. The pen has been restored and it's working very well.
The barrel is engraved "James E. Trotter" in a smooth cursive style right above the imprint.
