Color Silver with an 835 mark, indicating an alloy that's 83.5% silver and the remaining 16.5% is some other metal. This suggests a European origin. The barrel is 6-sided, and each side has a lengthwise pattern of fine parallel lines, with rectangular boxes at intervals along each facet. Silver over hard rubber.
Nib FINE 14k gold nib, stamped with "Warranted 14car 1st Quality". It's smooth and soft.
Condition Excellent condition. The hard rubber blind cap is faded to a dark brown. The silver overlay looks good, with small dents scattered about the surface. Light to moderate scratching, but no large individual scratches or personalization. The cap lip is just a tiny bit uneven, but if you're careful it won't damage the surface of the barrel. The top of the cap has some denting around the edge. This is a shiny little treasure of a pen!
