Product Description
Type Unknown piston-filling fountain pen
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year Probably European based on the "900" silver mark and the nib mark of "14-C" - circa 1930s more or less.
Length 4-5/16" long closed, 5-3/8" long posted.
Filling System Piston-filler. The seals have been replaced and we tested the filling system and it's working very well. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Silver overlay on hard rubber. The clip has a 900 mark, indicating an alloy that's 90% silver and the remaining 10% is some other metal. This suggests a European origin. The barrel is round and has a barleycorn pattern all over.
Nib MEDIUM 14k gold nib with some flex. The nib is stamped with "Warranted 14-C 0.585" and an image of a unicorn. It's smooth and soft. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. The hard rubber piston knob has a lot of scratching. The silver overlay looks good, with small dents scattered about the surface. Light to moderate scratching, but no large individual scratches or personalization. The cap lip looks great. The hard rubber cap finial looks good. The ink viewing window has some slight staining. This is a shiny little treasure of a pen!
