Product Name Doric I, we are calling it a "I" because the first version came in different colors and used a different filling system
Manufacturer and Year Wahl Eversharp, USA -- 1931-35.
Length 5-3/8", smaller than oversize and larger than junior size.
Filling System Lever filler. A new sac has been installed and tested. The pen is working well.
Color This pen is "Morocco Pearl," a marbled burgundy material with gold plated trim. The trim includes a roller clip, the Eversharp Gold Seal, and a 3/16" wide cap band with diamond and rectangle cut outs. The pen is faceted.
Nib FINE Wahl Eversharp Gold Seal Manifold nib. The nib is very firm. The feed has an "N.P." on it.
Condition Excellent condition. There is one crack on the cap lip that matches up with the black lines of the material. It curves until it reaches the cap band. The cap is nicely translucent. There is a 5/16" long shallow scratch in the cap. No bite marks or major plating wear. The edges of the trim have slight wear but nothing significant. The cap imprint is mostly legible. It is difficult to see the "ARP" in "EVERSHARP." The pen is working well.
