Product Name Skyline Demi.
Manufacturer and Year Eversharp, USA -- 1940s.
Length The fountain pen measures 4-3/4" and the pencil measures 4-5/8". These are the demi size.
Filling System The fountain pen has a lever filling system. We replaced the sac and it's working well. The pencil has a clicker mechanism to extend and retract the leads. It takes 0.9mm or "thin" leads.
Color Marine Green, a dark almost-black shade of green, barrel and section with 1/10 14k gold-filled cap. There are grooved lines around the caps.
Nib Medium manifold 14k nib, verging on the broad. It's got plenty of tipping and feels smooth.
Condition Excellent condition. The fountain pen cap looks good, with some brassing and slight pitting around the cap lip, as well as on the top edge of the gold-filled portion near the clip. The clip also has brassing on the edges, especially where it runs over the top of the derby. The pointy end of the barrel has a few small cracks which are common to Skylines. The mechanical pencil trim has brassing on the cone but no dents or dings on the rest of it. There is also brassing at the top of the gold-filled portion of the cap, near where it joins the clip. All imprints are clear and there is no personalization. Both pieces are working very well.
