Filling System The pen fills with a lever filling system (a new sac is installed). The pencil fills in the modern, click method. It takes 0.9mm (or "thin") leads.
Color Solid 14k Gold. This is one of the less common of the "Wave" patterns. Personalized on the trim bands, "Louis L. Darko".
Nib MEDIUM. Manifold 14k nib is fairly firm. Very smooth writing.
Condition This beautiful set is in excellent condition. The fountain pen has light scratching throughout, a small dent to the left of the bottom of the lever, horizontal scratch lines where the cap fits over the barrel, and a crack just under the section to the right of the word "gold" on the trim band. The fountain pen cap looks great with just some light microscratching. The mechanical pencil has only light microscratching. The imprints are clear.
