Filling System The pen is a lever filler, which we've restored with a new sac. The pencil takes 1.1mm (or "thick") leads which it extends by the repeater or cap actuated mechanism (you click the top piece down, just like on modern mechanical pencils. We'll include a small packet of leads.
Color Burgundy barrels and derbys with a green and black striped caps and gold plated trim. Wide 3/16" smooth cap bands.
Nib MANIFOLD FINE 14k nib. Smooth with nice tipping material, quite firm.
Condition Excellent condition. Some discoloration of the striped caps, the colors are not as well defined as they were originally. There's some scratching and wear on both pieces. There's plating wear on the pen's lever showing the silver metal underneath, and light plating wear showing just hints of the metal underneath on the edges of the cap bands and clip. There are a couple of tiny indents in the pen's clip. The pencil shows some light plating wear and dullness on its cone, but otherwise no real plating wear. Both pieces are free of cracks, chips, and personalization. They are both working very well.
