Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen and pencil set, restored and working well.
Product Name Skyline. This is an uncommon model with no cap bands, somewhat similar to the Steamliner model but with the Skyline clip and derby.
Manufacturer and Year Eversharp, made in USA -- 1940s.
Length Full size, 5-5/16".
Filling System Lever filling system. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black barrel, cap, and derby, with gold plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM-FINE 14k nib is smooth and quite firm.
Condition Excellent condition. Microscratching and handwear all over cap and barrel, though no deep scratches, cracks, dings, or personalization. The trim on the pen looks pretty good, though there is a fair bit of wear along the edges of the clip. The nose cone of the pencil has some plating wear, but the rest of the trim looks good. Fully restored and both pieces are working very well.
