Length The fountain pen measures 5-1/4" and the pencil measures 5-5/16".
Filling System The fountain pen has a lever filling system. We replaced the sac and it's working well. The pencil has a clicker mechanism to extend and retract the leads. It takes 1.1mm leads. A few leads can be found in the barrel.
Color Black barrels with solid 14k caps. The trim (clip and lever) is gold filled. The pencil has a black cone. The solid gold caps are smooth without patterning.
Nib Medium 14k nib. It's got plenty of tipping and feels smooth. Manifold nib has no flex.
Condition Excellent condition. The polystyrene looks great in both pen and pencil. The surface of the pen's cap has a few very subtle impressions but no real dents. The clip of the pen was bent at some point and restraightened; a small deviation is visible when you look down the line of the pen but doesn't affect the clip's performance. The pencil is in great condition. Both pen and pencil have no bite marks. No personalization, which is rather uncommon for these solid gold component pens. The fountain pen is fully restored and both pieces are working well.
