Length The fountain pen measures 5-1/4" and the pencil measures 5-3/16".
Filling System The fountain pen has a lever filling system. We replaced the sac and it's working well. The pencil has a clicker mechanism to extend and retract the leads. It takes 1.1mm leads. A few leads can be found in the barrel.
Color Dubonnet Red barrels with solid 14k caps. The Skyline dubonnet red is a dark burgundy. It looks like a very dark brown-black in dim lighting. The trim (clip and lever) is gold filled. The pencil has a dubonnet red cone. The solid gold caps are smooth without patterns.
Nib FINE 14k nib. It's got plenty of tipping and feels smooth. There are a few small marks on the face of the nib.
Condition Excellent condition. The polystyrene looks great in both pen and pencil. The surface of the pen's cap has a few very subtle impressions but no real dents. The pencil has more dings and a small scuffed area, photographed below. Both pen and pencil have clear ipmrints and no bite marks. No personalization, which is rather uncommon for these solid gold component pens. The fountain pen is fully restored and both pieces are working well. The set ships in Eversharp box with paperwork describing the double check guarantee and instructions on how to use the pencil.
