Manufacturer and Year Franklin-Christoph Pen Company, USA -- fairly recent
Length 5-3/8" capped and 6-7/16" posted.
Filling System Takes international cartridges or converter. A converter is installed.
Color Black with an inset band on the cap from F-C's "Cathedral" material; their Cathedral material is a cracked-ice type acrylic, in red/blue/green/gold colors. No clip.
Nib MEDIUM #6 HPS ("high performance steel"), with their signature S.I.G. grind by Audrey Matteson.
Condition Near Mint condition. The pen has light polishing marks, but no major scratches or posting marks. There is an interesting, unusual texture on the cap, visible in the first photo. The surface has a subtle pebbled quality; it's not the typical super-glossy machined finish, and it has a more natural feel. The pen ships in a Franklin-Christoph box with a card authenticating Ms. Matteson's work on the nib, and is protected in a single pen case made of a grey woven fabric. The subtle band inclusion on the cap gives it a touch of flair while still retaining a professional appearance.
