Color Barrel is ebony, a black colored wood, with platinum plated section, end piece, cap and clip. Graf von Faber-Castell calls it "platinized accents." The pen is in a linen pen sleevenside the original wood grain box.
Nib Medium 18k nib. The nib is labeled M and writes smoothly with nice rounded tipping material. The two-tone design is in great condition.
Condition Near mint condition. Very light microscratching and polishing marks on the plated parts. The clip looks nearly perfect. All imprints are clear. The wooden box is in perfect condition. The outer cardboard box was originally labelled by Graf as being for the Classic, but they put another sticker over it to show it was for the Intuition Ebony pen with a SKU of 147300.
